Common problems we fix

Annual maintenance contract (AMC)

Counting machines work hard every day. Dust, note fibres and wear on the rollers slowly reduce accuracy and fake note detection. An AMC keeps your machine checked and calibrated through the year.

How to keep your counting machine accurate

  • Keep it covered when not in use. Dust is the main cause of sensor errors.
  • Clean the rollers and sensors regularly with a soft, dry brush, with the machine switched off.
  • Do not overload the hopper. Load the number of notes the machine is designed for.
  • Remove pins, clips and rubber bands before counting, and flatten folded notes.
  • Use a stable power supply. A spike guard or stabiliser protects the electronics.
  • Call us early if counts or detection start to look wrong, before a small fault becomes a big repair.
